Live dispatcher 24/7 · Mobile EV charging starting at $199 · Serving Burbank and Greater Los Angeles

Do This in the First Two Minutes

  1. Get to safety. If the car still rolls, coast to a shoulder, side street, or lot. If not, leave it in place and stay belted inside if you are in traffic.
  2. Hazards on. Most EVs keep the 12V accessory system alive for hours after traction battery depletion.
  3. Call (916) 826-9410. Talk to a dispatcher rather than waiting on an app.
  4. Do not push or tow it yourself. Many EVs cannot be flat-towed without drivetrain damage.

Why a Dead EV Is Not Like an Empty Gas Tank

You cannot walk to a station with a can. But the reverse is also true: a charger can come to you, and gasoline never could. A 30-minute mobile Level 2 session adds roughly 30–40 miles of range — far more than enough to reach the nearest working charger anywhere in the LA basin.

The other difference is damage risk. Sitting at 0% state of charge for days can harm a lithium battery pack, and an improper tow can damage motors and reduction gears. Getting energy into the pack quickly is the safest outcome for the vehicle.

Where This Happens Most in Los Angeles

Our dispatch data shows clear hot spots: the 405 through the Sepulveda Pass, the 101 between Hollywood and Sherman Oaks, the 134 through Burbank and Glendale where there is no charging infrastructure, the 5 near the Golden State corridor, Downtown LA parking structures, and Santa Monica and Venice on weekends when every public charger is full.

What It Costs to Get Moving Again

Quick Boost is $199 for 30 minutes and roughly 30–40 miles — the package most out-of-battery calls choose. Standard Charge is $329 for 60 minutes and roughly 80–100 miles. Extended Charge is $429 for 90 minutes and roughly 130–160 miles. After-hours (6 PM–6 AM) adds $50; travel beyond 25 miles from Burbank adds $2 per mile.

Frequently Asked Questions

My EV is at 0% and will not move. Can you still charge it?

Yes. A fully depleted traction battery is exactly what our mobile Level 2 units are for. We connect at your location and add range until the vehicle can drive normally — no towing and no need to move the car first.

Will running out of battery damage my EV?

A single depletion event is usually fine, but leaving the pack at 0% for an extended period can degrade it. That is one reason to get a charge on site quickly instead of letting the vehicle sit for days waiting on a tow and a shop appointment.

Should I call a tow truck instead?

Almost never. EV towing in Los Angeles typically costs $300–$500 or more, requires a flatbed to avoid drivetrain damage, and still ends with you waiting at a charging station. Mobile charging starts at $199 and puts you back on the road where you are.
